How It Works
When a strong pulse-type magnetic field is transmitted instantaneously through a conductor — and the human body conducts magnetic fields easily — an eddy current is induced within the tissue. These induced bioelectric currents interact with body tissue through an electrophysiological mechanism: in muscle tissue, they stimulate motor nerves connected to the musculature, producing a contracting effect; in sensory nerves, blood vessels, and bone tissue, a related electrophysiological response occurs.
