TheraMaster is built around four Core Therapy functions, each targeting a different layer of spinal treatment:
- Core 1 — Decompression: A feedback-driven system delivers comfortable, effective disc decompression.
- Core 2 — Correction: Fully configurable target set-up across three functions — unilateral, rotation, and level — matched to the patient's specific herniation pattern.
- Core 3 — Exercise Prescription: Three intensity levels (Low / Medium / High) combined with a 5-step angle set-up allow mobilization exercise to be precisely dosed to patient tolerance.
- Core 4 — Program: Automatic mode runs variously sophisticated, pre-programmed treatment sequences for consistent, hands-free delivery.
Cervical and lumbar regions are each treated through four dedicated functions — target angle adjustment, unilateral application, rotation application (lumbar), and decompression therapy — all built on Cox's flexion-distraction principle and, for rotation, the Cyriax technique. An optional infrared radiation function (up/down) can also be applied during treatment to relax shortened muscles in rigid patients, maximizing overall treatment performance.
