Overview
VitalStim® Plus uses interactive therapy to give patients visual and audible feedback, leading to enhanced engagement during swallowing exercises. Supplementing a standard therapy programme with sEMG biofeedback facilitates functional swallowing recovery.
Screen-mirroring technology projects live treatment progress onto a computer or tablet, so clinicians can guide patients through personalised, targeted swallowing exercises. VitalStim Plus neuromuscular electrical stimulation helps recruit and re-educate the muscles involved in swallowing, while sEMG biofeedback increases effort and duration.
