Overview
The Sonostat® delivers powerful ultrasonic therapy at 1 MHz and 3.3 MHz, offering a high degree of functionality and operating convenience for universal ultrasound treatment. Its ergonomically designed, 100% watertight treatment heads — available in 2.5 cm² or 5 cm² — are made of high-quality titanium. Unlike conventional aluminium heads, titanium is bioinert (100% gentle to the skin), more robust and durable, and does not tarnish. Both head sizes can be connected to the unit at the same time.
The desired treatment head is activated by a mere touch on the screen, and both head types may be used for both frequencies. The system offers several operating modes: in addition to continuous-wave (CW) operation, there are five pulsed modes with duty factors of 100%, 50%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 5%. Users can set parameters manually, choose from a comprehensive application list, or select stored pre-set treatment programmes.
All treatment parameters are indicated clearly on a 10.1″ TFT LCD full-colour touchscreen, and the modern high-tech design with a brushed aluminium surface is a further quality hallmark of the Sonostat
