Overview

The Core of Spinal Therapy

Spine-MT CORE is a spinal decompression and mobilization system built around a simple promise: short treatment, high success rate, fully customized to the patient. It combines targeted cervical and lumbar decompression with mobilization and correction therapies in a single integrated platform — engineered to Shinhwa Medical’s global standard for spinal therapy.

Treatment Mode Principle Function Adjustable Range
Cervical Target Angle Flexion-distraction (Cox technique) Treats the cervical region via target angle adjustment 0° to 25°
Lumbar Target Angle Flexion-distraction (Cox technique) Treats the lumbar region via target angle adjustment 0° to +25°
Cervical Unilateral Application Per medical examination/treatment principle Applies treatment according to the herniated direction of the disc 0° to 20°
Lumbar Unilateral Application Per medical examination/treatment principle Applies treatment according to the herniated direction of the disc 0° to 20°
Cervical Decompression Therapy Feedback-driven decompression Combines feedback system, exercise function, decompression function, and automatic program —
Lumbar Rotation Application Cyriax technique (orthopedic) Treats according to the type of disc escape; adjusts lumbar rotation range Rotation stop position 0° to 18°

Lumbar Decompression Therapy Feedback-driven decompression Combines feedback system, exercise function, decompression function, and automatic program —
Treatment Indications

Core Therapy — Four Integrated Treatment Pillars

1. Decompression Built around a real-time feedback system, decompression therapy gently separates vertebral segments to relieve pressure on discs and nerves — delivered in a way designed to be both comfortable and effective for the patient.

2. Correction Correction therapy is fully target-configurable across three functions — unilateral adjustment, rotation, and level — allowing the clinician to tailor treatment precisely to the patient's herniation pattern and presentation.

3. Mobilization Exercise Mobilization intensity is adjustable across three levels (Low / Medium / High) and five angle steps, giving clinicians fine control over how aggressively the thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and pelvic regions are mobilized during a session.

4. Program Two operating modes cover the full range of clinical need: Manual Mode for sophisticated, clinician-directed treatment, and Special Mode for a variety of automatic, pre-set treatment sequences.

Together, these four pillars let the same platform move fluidly from precise segmental decompression to broader mobilization and exercise — all governed by the same feedback and program logic.

Clinical Protocols

Evidence-based treatment guidance

Recommended starting parameters by indication. Final protocols should be set by the treating clinician.

Herniated nucleus pulposus
Feedback-driven decompression creates space for the disc to move and applies a centripetal force that helps draw the herniated material back in.
Degenerative disc disease
Decompression and mobilization together relieve disc pressure and support the surrounding joints and muscles as the disc degenerates.
Scoliosis
Unilateral correction and rotation functions address the asymmetric spinal and muscular imbalance underlying the curve.
Joint problems
Mobilization intensity and angle settings are tuned to gently restore range of motion in affected spinal joints.
Muscle imbalance
Real-time left/right muscle tension monitoring lets treatment be adjusted mid-session to correct imbalance directly.
