Professional radial shockwave (ESWT) system using a pneumatic pulse method, with titanium UL Force applicators reaching up to 50 mm. 1–5 bar, 1–17 Hz, full-colour touchscreen with body-map targeting and integrated patient data records.
Overview
UL Force Radial is a professional-grade radial shockwave therapy system built around the UL Force applicator system. It is a complete clinical solution, with a large full-colour touchscreen, body-map targeting and integrated patient data management.
The device delivers extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) using a pneumatic pulse method: compressed air accelerates a projectile inside the handpiece, generating a pressure wave that passes from the applicator into the skin and underlying tissue in a radial, dispersing pattern. It works in three ways. Mechanically, it changes the composition of the lesion site and stimulates the synthesis of new repair components. At the molecular level, it increases blood supply to the area, reducing inflammation and pain and helping to clear calcific deposits. Analgesically, it overstimulates local nerve fibres, raising the patient’s pain threshold.
The applicator tip is high-strength titanium: about three times stronger and lighter than iron or stainless steel, non-corrosive, non-toxic and biocompatible, reaching a treatment depth of up to 50 mm.
