Treatment Indications

Targeted Pain Relief Through Radial Pressure Wave Therapy

The Intelect® RPW Lite delivers radial, pneumatically-generated, low-energy acoustic waves — often called "pressure pulses" — directly into the treatment area. As the pulse propagates radially through the tissue, it generates a therapeutic effect that helps reduce pain and support recovery, all through a compact, touch-screen-controlled device designed for busy clinical practice.

Six preset intensity levels (1–6) let clinicians move from gentle, low-energy application up to maximum energy release without manual recalibration — the frequency adjusts automatically as intensity increases, from 18 Hz at Level 1 down to 6 Hz at Level 6. This range covers the variety of energy demands across different RPW indications, from delicate myofascial work to deeper, high-intensity tendinopathy treatment.
