Overview
Onda is a non-focal (radial) wave therapy device that radically changes the therapeutic methodology for many musculoskeletal disorders. Shockwave technology generates an acoustic wave with a high energy peak, adjustable within a given frequency range. An accelerated bullet in the hand piece, driven by an electromagnetic impulse, generates a mechanical pressure wave that is transferred to a specific area, irradiating the tissue.
Mechanical energy creates bio-stimulation reactions in the tissue, giving positive influence across a wide range of orthopaedic, physiotherapeutic and antalgic conditions. Onda delivers up to 185 mJ MAX (comparable to around 6 bar of a pneumatic system) of variable-frequency energy in a compact design, and its better distribution of pressurised waves decreases the painful sensation while improving therapeutic feedback.
