Helios qmd® Laser

The qmd® Helios laser provides electromagnetic energy to tissues in the form of photons, with recognised therapeutic effects. Laser devices are increasingly used in rehabilitation medicine thanks to the strength of the scientific evidence for the biological and therapeutic effects of this form of energy, particularly high-power devices that allow deeper penetration and a more rapid, more enduring effect on pain, inflammation and reparative processes.

All qmd® lasers are equipped with the 1064nm wavelength; the Helios is the most advanced model, adding further wavelengths and higher transmitting power. It dispenses in continuous, pulsed, super-pulsed and frequency-scanning (qmd® harmonic pulsation) modes through a large 10.1″ colour touchscreen with intuitive, easy-to-use software.
