Meden-Inmed AXELERO gait and balance treadmill with a built-in posturographic plate for real-time Center of Pressure tracking, a 43″ biofeedback display, adjustable handrails for children and adults, standardized tests (6MWT, LoS, Romberg) and optional ELEVEO dynamic unloading of up to 160 kg.
Overview
AXELERO Gait & Balance is Meden-Inmed’s most advanced treadmill, built not only for motor rehabilitation and biofeedback-guided training but for objective, quantified measurement of a patient’s gait and running parameters. It is designed for training gait-pattern disturbances and balance, so the same session both treats and measures.
At its core is a posturographic plate beneath the treadmill belt that locates the patient’s Center of Pressure (CoP) in real time and detects automatically whether the patient is on the device. Together with a large 43-inch real-time biofeedback display, adjustable integrated handrails and a full software suite for data tracking and analysis, AXELERO turns everyday gait training into a measurable, repeatable clinical process.
For patients with significant gait dysfunction, the optional ELEVEO dynamic unloading system mounts above the treadmill and relieves up to 160 kg of body weight, so training can start before full weight-bearing is possible.

| Condition | Approach |
| Stroke | Real-time biofeedback and adjustable handrail support help retrain gait symmetry and weight-bearing as motor control returns. |
| Cerebral disorders | CoP tracking and symmetry analysis support structured retraining of balance and coordination. |
| Spinal cord injuries | Belt speed control and optional ELEVEO weight support allow safe, progressive gait training with significant lower-limb impairment. |
| Parkinson’s disease | Visual biofeedback on stride length and cadence helps address the shortened, shuffling Parkinsonian gait. |
| Cerebral palsy | Handrail width and height adjust for children and adults, supporting long-term motor skill development. |
Set handrail width and height to the patient before training and adjust as confidence improves.
