Programmable 1-3 MHz ultrasound unit with a combined cryotherapy version. Cold ultrasound therapy for inflammatory and painful states; continuous or modulated delivery, preset + custom programs. Physioled.
Overview
Sonara is a programmable unit for ultrasound transducers with working frequencies from 1 up to 3 MHz. Sonara Cryo is built on the synergy of two therapeutic techniques — cryotherapy and ultrasound therapy — with strong amplification of the healing effects of the two methods combined.
Cold ultrasound therapy is highly effective for the treatment of inflammatory and painful states: the anti-inflammatory action of ultrasound is coupled with the analgesic, anti-oedema and pain-relieving action of cryotherapy, generating thermal, mechanical, cavitation, biological and phonophoresis effects. It is used as an anti-inflammatory, painkiller and anti-swelling treatment and to combat deep muscle contractures.
