Thor photobiomodulation (LLLT) system built around the LX2 tabletop control unit, with medium healing LED cluster, analgesic laser cluster, trigger-point laser, intra-oral dental probe, point locator and treatment library. Two auto-switching probe outputs, 11 pulse frequencies.
Overview
Photobiomodulation therapy uses intense beams of light at specific wavelengths to stimulate or inhibit cellular function. When the right wavelength at the right intensity is delivered at the correct anatomical location for the right amount of time, it can stimulate repair, resolve inflammation and reduce pain. The effect of light on cytochrome c oxidase — and the consequent unbinding of nitric oxide — drives improved cellular function.
The THOR Laser Pro LX2 package is built around the LX2 table-top control unit and includes a medium healing LED cluster (1000mW), an analgesic 5-diode laser cluster, a 1000mW trigger-point laser, a red single-laser intra-oral dental probe, a point locator, access to the THOR treatment library and two pairs of laser safety glasses.
